Quick Start

Katla front panel overview

For a basic starting point:

  1. Turn on Voice 1 by pressing its activation button (next to the number 1).
  2. Set all three of Voice 1’s sliders to the middle of their range.
  3. Set the Global OSC Level slider to midpoint.
  4. Set the Master volume knob to midpoint.
  5. Set Amp Envelope Sustain and Mod Envelope Sustain to their highest value.
  6. Turn the Filter Cutoff knob fully clockwise.
  7. Set all other sliders to their lowest position, except those marked with a stroke through the middle — set those to midpoint.
  8. Set all four key-tracking knobs to their middle position.

You should now hear a basic shark-tooth wave. Katla is ready for further exploration.
