Firmware 0.3.3

  • Added MIDI Program Change support.
    • Banks 1–4 map to Full, Top, Middle, and Bottom presets.
    • Bank 5 controls Panel Mode.
  • Fixed a few inconsistencies in preset LED behavior.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing or long-pressing a row preset button in Panel Mode would incorrectly load previous section presets.
  • Fixed a bug where Round Robin Predictable mode LEDs were not properly initialized.

Sound engine changes

Section titled “Sound engine changes”
  • Note velocity now affects the VCA volume of each voice. A future Katla Central update will add options to disable velocity-to-VCA and route velocity to other parameters.
  • The Skriða range has been adjusted to reduce the likelihood of extremely short envelope times.
  • Stereo LFO modulation logic now responds to ADSR when voices are enabled or disabled.
  • ENV CLK can now be enabled. It was previously always disabled, even when the button was turned on.
  • A wavefolder has been added to all effect modulation points:
    • Reverb Amount
    • Reverb Mix
    • Drive Amount
    • Drive Mix
    • Effects Color

MPE and MIDI changes

  • MPE mode added via OPTIONS DIP switch 1.
  • MIDI Thru and MIDI MPE Output behavior added via OPTIONS DIP switch 2.
  • MPE Low Zone and High Zone routing added.
  • MPE input bend range options: 48 or 94 semitones.
  • MPE output bend range options: 48 or 96 semitones.
  • Velocity-to-VCA and pressure-to-VCA options added for MPE input.
  • Standard MPE and Multi Mono handling added.
  • Genki Link and Keyboard MIDI output can be enabled or disabled to prevent MIDI loops.
  • Modulation Wheel on the global channel is now forwarded to MIDI output.
  • Program changes are now supported.
